Cherishing the moments

My friend text me tonight and what she told me shocked me. In college we were a wild bunch. The fucking tripod.  Well the girls met this awesome band, Hurry up offense, and I went with them to a show and instantly fell in love with this punk rock group. Every time they were coming in town The key would get a text and we would hangout with this awesome threesome. My friend text me that one of the guys died about 2 years ago. We fell out of touch with the guys a while back but we had those fond memories of them. I didn't know Max that well but just hearing that he past was a shock and very sad. It made me realize again how short life can be and that we have to live it to the fullest.  Reaching for our dreams and never looking back. This is the first night of the rest of my life.
